For a cultural experience not to be missed be quick to secure your tickets to this year's Opera By The Lakes, to be held on Sunday, 20th March 2016 at Nyerimilang Homestead right here in Nungurner. Now in its third year, this year's event is headlined by internationally renowned star of Opera and music theatre David Hobson featuring performances by Opera Australia and Victoria Opera singers, plus incredible local talent from East Gippsland Symphonia playing prior.
As if the scenery wasn't enough on its own....! This is a special event in beautiful surroundings which you'll be swept away by.
This year, chairs are provided. Boxed lunches can be pre-purchased or you can bring your own "knee lunch". No BYO alcohol but wine can be purchased, along with afternoon tea and all for a good cause.
Gates open at 12 noon with performances commencing after 1.30 pm. It's an outdoor event so bring your festival gear (hat, aerogard, cushion and poncho).
